Leitech Digital Thread Gauge

The Leitech Digi Gauge is a refined model of the Leitech High-Resolution Gauge. The Digi Gauge reveals the exact measurement on a digital screen. By using the Leitech Digi Gauge you can improve the accuracy of your measurement.

The resolution of the scale on Leitech Digi Gauge System is 0.01 mm/0.0005″.

When the requirement for the accuracy is not at this scale, we recommend Leitech Combi gauge, which has a measuring accuracy of 0.5 mm/0.025″.

Alternatively, we recommend the Leitech High-Resolution Gauge, which has a measuring accuracy of 0.1 mm/0.005″.

Master Ring Gauge

The master gauge used in measurement comparison is not only heat treated, but also sub-zero treated to make exceptionally precise and high quality parts. These are used to calibrate the probe sensors maximum and minimum points of the range. The ring style masters are used to calibrate ID type through hole sensor probes.

We supply a wide range of Hardness Testers performing every hardness test scale such as Rockwell, Brinell and Vickers, on any materials from iron, steel, aluminum, metal alloys, heat treatment, to plastic and rubber with absolute accuracy due to fully automatic control and precise software. Benchtop and portable hardness testers conform to ASTM and ISO hardness standards.

Air Plug Gauge

Air Plug Gauge or Air Jet Plug Gauge consists of a cylindrical hardened steel body, hard -chrome plated and precisely ground, to provide the guide needed for air jet positioning inside the bore. The nozzles through with the air is guided are recessed below the body diameter of the plug.

Leica T-Scan 5

The Leica Absolute Tracker takes your scanning experience to a new level of excellence in volumes up to 50m (Ø) in a single set-up. Leica T-Scan 5 is more than 15x faster compared to the previous model and has almost double the stand-off distance, which results in more efficient data capture especially in difficult to reach areas.

CMM Portable

A revolutionary solution to a complicated problem

Utilizing advanced technology, software, design and electronics, the zCAT is manufactured as a compact self-contained unit that is fundamentally different than existing CMM technology, design and operation. From initial equipment acquisition through set-up, training and maintenance, the zCAT offers significant cost reductions without compromising measuring accuracy or performance.

Easy-to-Use

The zCAT is the easiest DCC CMM to use. Built with the intention of lowering the threshold of training needed to successfully operate and even program a DCC CMM, every component, from the mechanics to the software, has been examined for optimal user experience and ease of use.

Portability

The zCAT is the world’s first portable direct computer control coordinate measuring machine (DCC CMM). At only 30 pounds, the zCAT conveniently goes with you wherever you need it. No longer are you required to take the part to the CMM; from a surface plate, to a table on the shop floor or on a large part itself, the zCat can be deployed directly in the manufacturing process.

Power

Being tethered to an outlet is a thing of the past. The zCAT is powered by a built-in 10.8 volt lithium ion battery, providing enough power to gain precise, accurate measurements for four hours in the field. The zCAT is truly wireless. A power supply charger is included for quick recharges between or during use.

Probe System

The zCAT ensures accuracy with an industry-standard probe system. Find comfort in knowing that easy-to-acquire, accurate results are measured by this reliable touch-trigger probe system. Whatever your measurement task, this probe system allows for the optimal stylus arrangement for accuracy.

Programming

Automate measuring processes, and gain accurate data time after time. The unique zCAT clutch seamlessly shifts from direct computer to manual control without the need for flipping switches or clicking buttons. Simply, move the probe manually, and the computer will remember and reproduce the movements for accurate, repeatable measurements.

Software

The zCAT comes with ControlCAT – built-in, easy-to-use, geometric measurement software controlled through an intuitive, icon-based touchscreen interface. Take advantage of the direct computer controlled measurements without the need for a secondary computer. From shop technicians to dedicated CMM operators, anyone can feel comfortable operating the zCAT.

The height gauge V3 have been developed for the most difficult workshop environments. Manufactured in their entirety in Switzerland, they will guarantee a robust, precise and reliable product on the long run. For more than 40 years Trimos philosophy has been to offer easy-to-use instruments that are very efficient in production environment. The display unit provides functions that are directly accessible and depicted with symbols easy to understand.

Block Gauge

A gauge block is a block of metal or ceramic with two opposing faces ground precisely flat and parallel, a precise distance apart. Standard grade blocks are made of a hardened steel alloy, while calibration grade blocks are often made of tungsten carbide or chromium carbide because it is harder and wears less.

Gauge blocks come in sets of blocks of various lengths, along with two wear blocks, to allow a wide variety of standard lengths to be made up by stacking them. The length of each block is actually slightly shorter than the nominal length stamped on it, because the stamped length includes the length of one wring film, a film of lubricant which separates adjacent block faces in normal use. The thickness of the wring film is about 25 nanometers (0.98 μin). The gauge’s nominal length is also known as the interferometric length.

Digital Caliper

The Digital Caliper (sometimes incorrectly called the Digital Vernier Caliper) is a precision instrument that can be used to measure internal and external distances extremely accurately. The example shown below is a digital caliper as the distances/measurements, are read from a LCD display. The most important parts have been labelled. Earlier versions of this type of measuring instrument had to be read by looking carefully at the imperial or metric scale and there was a need for very good eyesight in order to read the small sliding scale. Manually operated vernier calipers can still be bought and remain popular because they are much cheaper than the digital version. Also, the digital version requires a small battery whereas the manual version does not need any power source.
Digital calipers are easier to use as the measurement is clearly displayed and also, by pressing the inch/mm button the distance can be read as metric or imperial.

The display is turned on with the on/off button. The external jaws should then be brought together until they touch and the zero button should be pressed. The digital caliper can then be used to measure distances. Always go through this procedure when turning on the display for the first time.

MEASURING EXTERNAL DISTANCES

The material to be measured is placed between the external jaws and they are carefully brought together. The locking screw is tightened so that the jaws do not move apart. The digital display can then be read. The distance can be read by in metric and imperial by pressing the inch/mm button.
