Brass is a metal alloy composed primarily of copper and zinc, brass usually classified as a copper alloy. Due of its superior machine ability and thread rolling characteristics, brass is most suitable for high speed machining operations. Not only that, it is also easily soldered and it has a resistance to corrosion. Brass is typically used in gears, plumbing ware fittings and valves etc.
