SIC Marking E10 P63 Portable Handheld Dot Peen Marker

Dot peen technology : fast, efficient marking on any material!
Dot peen marking works by electromechanically striking a carbide or diamond stylus assembly against the surface of a part to be marked. The result is a succession of dots to create digits, text, logos, and 2D data matrix codes. Each dot is the result of a pulsed current that runs through a solenoid, punches a magnet toward the surface, and subsequently returns the stylus to its starting position, awaiting the next pulse. Because each pulse occurs in only a fraction of a second, an entire 2D data matrix code, for example, can be completed in seconds (depending on the size). Frequency can be adjusted by controlling the speed of the X and Y axes movements. What makes SIC Marking’s dot peen technology so unique is the constant measurement of the electrical current between each pulse. This allows for constant, precise control of the impact consistency.

Description

SIC Marking E10 P63 Portable Handheld Dot Peen Marker SIC Marking Portable Handheld Dot Peen Marker

The p63 is a portable, handheld dot peen marker designed for use with the e10 controller. Its lightweight portability makes it ideal for marking large, difficult-to-access parts, and its arched front plate allows for sturdy marking on both flat and cylindrical surfaces. Capable of marking plastics and metals (up to 62HRC), the rugged cast aluminum body, ABS cover, and stainless steel front plate make the p63 a mobile, lightweight, and reliable tool. The marking pin is solenoid actuated and requires minimal maintenance and no air supply system.

Electronic Features

The e10 controller provides its operator with a direct and easy-to-use interface. Its large graphic display and membrane-protected QWERTY keyboard make it perfect for use in industrial environments. Because the control box does not have any openings or ventilation, its interior electrical components are protected from harsh elements such as water, chemicals, dust, and material fragments.

Marking files can be up/downloaded from a PC to the controller using a USB key, or entered and edited directly on the machine. The e10’s (included) comprehensive software package allows for linear, angular, radial, and mirror image marking, and an optional booster card can be used for deep marking. An additional 3rd and 4th axis circuit board can be installed to control a motorized column and rotary axis. The software package incorporates self-diagnostic and machine history functions, making it a “smart” user friendly machine.
